ded-i-cate good times c'mon!

okay so the fort lauderdale dedication is this sunday! COOL! i have been able to go to like 4? in my lifetime. Thanks honey and hopper for taking me to the redlands dedication. that was a cool experience as an 8 year old. and now ill get to see one here in my "home" state of FLORIDA! what a blessing!

apparently the temple IS STUNNING! no surprise there but just to show you how beautiful Ive taken some of the photos from lds.org to add to give your eyes a little candy as you read. and when i say some i mean one:

alright. back to bi'ness.

so this week went by ultra fast and i think it is because suddenly we have all these people to teach! its unreal! I feel like those missionaries that the apostles talk about are the ideal - not tracting just teaching. BUT I am tracting a little because the members do help with the work but not the investigator supplement part. #workinprogress

We are seeing a lot of miracles. one of which being that this woman and her children who have been waiting 7 years to be baptized have walked (literally) into our area. THATS A MIRACLE! que bendicione! (shes from Puerto Rico) Another great thing is that I am constantly learning and growing from the 9128375189347128937417834 weaknesses that I have... ITS AWESOME> its really cool how we can be like "okay i want to be able to do this" and even if it seems impossible, ULTRA scary, and RIDICULOUS, if it is a RIGHTEOUS desire - the Lord will provide a way for it to be accomplished, as long as we do all in our power to accomplish it.

ANOTHER thing that brought me a lot of strength this week was a quote by President GORDON B HINCKLEY - what a great guy, shoutout to the YOUNGS for taking me to his viewing, forever grateful for that -

he is talking to women about things to do- but just take this as it is. HE said
"I do not ask that you reach beyond your capacity. Please don't nag yourself with thoughts of failure. Do not set goals far beyond your capacity to achieve. Simply do what you can do, in the best way you know, and the Lord will accept of your effort." (Rise to the Stature of the Divine within You)

If we are setting realistic goals for ourselves and doing ALL we can in the best way we know how, the Lord will not only accept our effort but always reach out and help us along the way! I have thought a lot about how the lord reaches out and helps each one of us. I know i dont always recognize when he does. BUT HE DOES. and it always happens. #tendermercy BUT SERIOUSLY. i was reading in james(almost done with the NT real excited about that. JtheC is taking some time but i set a goal to finish it before im done here so no worries.) in james he was talking about how God gives grace to the humble. HUMILITY has NEVER BEEN MY STRONG SUIT....#blessmyheart I LOVE TO ONE UP. (weakness 1238973824790128493014...13849712347... working on it. ive gotten a lot better. dont worry) BUT It says this THAT I LOVE:

 6 But he giveth more ^agrace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the ^bproud, but giveth grace unto the ^chumble.
 7 ^aSubmit yourselves therefore to God. ^bResist the ^cdevil, and he will flee from you.
 8 ^aDraw ^bnigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. ^cCleanse your hands, ye sinners; and ^dpurify your hearts, ye double minded.

so heres the conditional statement:
If I submit myself to God, and come unto Him in Humility, with a pure heart and clean hands(repenting with broken heart and contrite spirit), then HE will give me GRACE, come unto ME, and LIFT ME UP.
WOW! what a promise. sounds pretty great if you ask me. so thats what i would invite all of you to do. COME UNTO CHRIST(moroni 10:32) in the best way you can right now and be LIFTED UP! i know that we can all become better and happier as we do so. (theres my promise)

thats BRE SNYDER! she is the BOMB! almost as BOMB as the BOM but thats the fulness of the gospel so not quite to that level but she is pretty great!

tracting for easter sharing #becauseofhim and seeing loads of miracles including setting a date with this guy JUSTIN who is ultra cool and way excited. we set the date for may 10th but will have to move it to the 20 something because he couldnt make it to church. but still so cool.

im not the only missionary that goes to the dentist. but dont worry while we were there our bishop(the dentist) told us some great dentist mormon jokes (theres a scripture about the dentist.."if ye are prepared ye shall not fear..." and bet ya didnt know mormon was a dentist? he made an abridgement...classic knee slappers)

we unintentionally match like every day. its sorta funny how often it happens. anyway.

this week was amazing. i love it out here. uhm ive been reading in the bible and timothy is bombing.

So this week was rad. lots of murrricles as uuuuuuzzzsh. I honestly had something i wanted to tell you but now i dont remember. OH I HAD THE SCARIEST DREAM THAT CEC LIVED IN A WEIRD SHACK ON STILTS THAT LOOKED MORE LIKE A COOL ATTIC BEDROOM ON THE INSIDE AND SHE WAS A BREAK DANCER AT A CLUB AND IT WAS REAL WEIRD CAUSE SHE RAN AWAY FROM HOME TO DO THAT! i was really confused, so cecilly is thats what you have chosen to do with your life- do impress all dem foos with yo sick tricks, just remember to give me a shout out sometime;)

alright. so i have come to know that i have many flaws and weaknesses.... flaw 9898981234761345: i have a hard time when people question the obvious... for exomple(hermione granger voice) i will be getting in the car to go somewhere and someone will ask "are you planning on driving there" nope just getting in the car to check the temperature....basically "here's your signs" big flaw. working on it. i am just full bad news. BUT THATS THE GLORIOUS THINGS #becauseofhim I CAN BECOME BETTER. and thank goodness for that.

okay so sorry it is real short. lets see what else happened. oh a rad sisters conference. here are some photos from it. well i wil send the photos to mom so ask her for them... IT WAS GREAT AND SUPER UPLIFTING> hey also #becauseofhim i can receive answers to prayer and fasting cool tright(tight and right) OH and ill send some photos from our on going service at sister Julie Fishers(hidden cypress hollow) so soorry for the photo overload. but yeah!

murricles happen when you believe and build your faith. faith is key. #becauseofhim i know miracles can happen today!

So hey how'd yall like conference?!.

I sure loved it! every part of it. all of it was so GOOD! starting with Holland and then going through till the end! man what a pick me up! IM SO PUMPED. seriously... somebody's gotta start playing Pump Up the Jam...wheres that sports jams hits cd that we'd always play Freeze dance to when you need it! #worldlymusic so all of you take the time out to listen to it for me today.

SO other news. this week was full of miracles. some big some small but miracles none the less. What's even cooler is that since the temple is done(and apparently ultra beautiful) we can go SEE IT! if the ward we are serving in gets a bus and nonmembers go. GAH! we are basically telling everyone in our ward to go so we can try to get a bus. I want to see it so bad. But if i dont its mos def not the end of the world. (oh and to answer the Q the Hart's had - No, the temple in the other mission has not created added interest for my area at least...)

Oh we got to do service at sister Fisher's house. "hidden cyprus Hollow" in longwood fl. google it. super rad place. i cannot wait to come back here. she is so cool! and her property is amazing. GAH! i love it in longwood. so glad i get to be here for so long. (7.5 months or more)

training is going a lot better. conference really helped. i have a lot of weaknesses. liek 50,000,000,000,000. im imperfect - what can i say... made from fallen material - and even though my parents are THE BEST - I am still not nearly as great as i could be - BUT here's the best thing, I can become BETTER! Through the atonement and grace of our savior i can become the person the LORD wants me to be. what a novel thought. to become the kind of person our loving father in heaven, who knows us better than we know the freckles on our fingers(i know all mine), WOW, what an divine ideal to hope for. If we rely on the saviors atonement - i mean truly rely on it - and pray to do the things the lord would have us (not mine but thy will be done attitude) and be the person he would have us be WE can become BETTER! gah! how cool is that to become better! SO MUCH HOPE!!!!!! i can hope for better things. chyeah boy! this gospel is so cool. This morning i was reading a great lil scripture that brought hope. It was in : Ephesians 5:8 8 For ye sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: http://www.lds.org/scriptures/nt/eph/5?lang=eng

Which then led me to read hymn 304, Teach me to walk in the Light. Which says:

1. Teach me to walk in the light of his love;

Teach me to know of the things that are right;

Don't forget that this life is our 4 minutes to become great. We've prepared for this, we've waited anxiously, and now is the time to put forth our best effort to do what we came here to do and to help others a long the way. There is no stopping our greatness with The Lord on our side! We can truly do all things through Christ, if we are willing to repent, to truly repent and change our hearts and come unto him. He can help us through to lead us to what our father would have us do. This knowledge has given me a lot of comfort. I know I am very very far from perfect but thankfully I can become better. I can change. I am so grateful that I can. I'm really grateful that I can help others to know they can change and begin to reach that divine potential that our Heavenly Father has in store for them. Seeing people come unto Christ is so cool.

A guy that just moved to our ward knows the Hansens! He's from the la cañada first ward. Brandon Scott. Cool guy. Anyway. Thanks for the photos dad...I have to ski as soon as I'm home.., I was talking to elder brown and figured out that he is one of the propane guys that comes tot the grove...small world. Uh also mom sis Snyder is going to be asking you via text or email or calling about prom dress editing ideas....oppsie if you didn't want that. I love it out here. I love you.
